Description

📋 Indications

• ADHD diagnosed according to DSM-IV/DSM-5 criteria
• Children and adolescents (6–17 years)
• Adults (18–65 years) with persistent ADHD symptoms

🚫 Contraindications

Do not use Medikinet if you have:

• Glaucoma
• Severe anxiety, psychosis, mania, or uncontrolled bipolar disorder
• Cardiac disease (hypertension, arrhythmias, angina, heart failure, history of stroke)
• Hyperthyroidism or pheochromocytoma
• Concurrent MAOI use (must stop at least 14 days before starting)

💊 Dosage Guidelines

• Children (6–12 years): Start at 18 mg/day; max 54 mg/day
• Adolescents (13–17 years): Start at 18 mg/day; max 72 mg/day
• Adults (18–65 years): Start at 18–36 mg/day; max 72–80 mg/day depending on formulation
• Taken in the morning with or after breakfast to reduce insomnia risk
